Copper is 7 years old and in good health. Although he has a heart murmur, it is mild and a recent visit to the cardiologist revealed no need for medication. He is missing one eye, but it is hard to even notice.  He sees very well with just one.  He had some dental work upon rescue, and is missing a few teeth.  For that reason his tongue peeks out the side of his mouth.  However, this gives him a very cute expression.  

 

Although he came from a puppy mill, he doesn't seem to have any issues.  He is very social and affectionate.  He gets along with all our other dogs and is walking on a leash.

 

Copper is house broken and is well mannered.  But, he is not a pushover!  Occasionally when another dog tries to share a bed with him, he'll tell him in no uncertain turns, he'd prefer to sleep by himself.   If they insist, though, he gives in!
