I've had a very hard life, and my spirit was hurt and broken, but I'm becoming a new, beautiful butterfly!  I'm only 3 years old, but life has not been kind to me - at least not until just recently when I landed in a bit of heaven in my foster home.  I'm still very shy, but my new foster mommy is teaching me to love and trust, and I must say, it's a glorious experience!  I used to panic and run from everyone, and I even climbed the fence a few times, believing I wanted to escape.  It didn't take me long to realize that I DON'T want to escape.  In fact, the last time that thought crossed my mind, and I ended up on the wrong side of the fence, I cried when I couldn't get back in.  I was so afraid to be on my own and I wanted my foster family!

My hair is growing back beautiful!  I'm actually beginning to believe that I am a gorgeous and special girl!  I absolutely adore having my snood on for feeding coz I sure don't want to mess up the beautiful me I'm becoming!  I even love to be brushed and have my tummy scratched.  Life is good!!

I would love to have my very own family to love, but you must understand that routine is very important to me.  It does keep a girl in shape, you know?  Big kids would be great fun to have around, too, so long as they gave me all the love and attention that I deserve.

I'm such a sweet girl - that's what my foster mom says and I believe her! - but I will need for you to love me for who I am, and be mindful of my background.  I shy away from strangers, but if you show me that they are good folk, I'll believe you about that, too!

I'm learning to play with toys, and I absolutely ADORE playing with my foster sisters!

Honestly, I think I'm becoming the wonderful companion I was always meant to be!!  Can I be yours?!!

My foster home is near the beach in North Carolina, but home is where the heart is, and I'd sure love to give you mine!!
