Adoption information on "Daphne"

Daphne is a real darling and loving little girl with a beautifully soft and shiny coat.  She is a little overweight but is working on her diet and exercise.  She is also learning to walk on a leash and working on her indoor habits such as potty training.  Daphne has bilateral luxating patellas, yet does not seem to be in any pain, but does have a noticeable limp.  It doesn't stop her from getting around though at all; it just looks like she walks sideways. She loves to burrow her head in my arms as close as she can possibly get for cuddling and napping.  She cuddles in bed at night with me, but also does well in her crate. She does have some separation anxiety from her doggie partner so it would be best if she is adopted in a family with a buddy.  Since she came from a very isolated environment, external unfamiliar sounds cause her fear.  But those fears will be overcome easily with lots of attention. She is a wonderfully sweet and very loving little girl, and loves nothing more than to be close and receive lots of hugs and cuddles.  She's a very quiet little dog and is very alert.  Daphne will bring much joy to someone willing to give her the chance to live a better life  than in the past!

Daphne is 3 years old, born April 3, 2004.
